Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky has called for help after the confirmation of the arrival of 10,000 North Korean troops in Russia to aid Vladimir Putin in his war against Ukraine.

Zelensky said his military chiefs have warned that they are facing the most brutal offensive since the beginning of the war two years ago and the Ukrainian military will need all the support it needs to face the new waves of attack from Russian assault.

The Ukrainian President said that the suggestion of a pre-emptive strike on the position in which the North Korean troops are camped in Russia but also said that such a decision can not be taken without the approval of Washington and other Western allies.

The United States earlier this year warned the Ukrainian military chief from using Western-made long-range missiles to strike Russian territory.

However, President Vladimir Putin issued a warning on September 12 that Russia would be “at war” with the US and NATO states if they approved the use of Western-made long-range missiles to strike Russian territory.

Zelensky, who took to his Telegram messaging app, said, “But instead … America is watching, Britain is watching, Germany is watching. Everyone is just waiting for the North Korean military to start attacking Ukrainians as well.”

However, Western leaders have condemned the deployment of North Korean troops and described it as a substantial move to escalate what could play a significant role in relations in the Asia Pacific region.

Western diplomats have also said the newfound relationship between Russia and North Korea will open the pathway to technology transfers from Moscow to Pyongyang which will pose an advanced threat to the threat between Asia Pacific countries and also enhance North Korea’s nuclear weapons and missile program.

Prodesq war analyst, Temitope Oladeji disclosed that 7000 North Korean troops have advanced toward the Ukrainian southern border while the rest are heading to the Russian Kursk region which has been held by the Ukrainian forces since September this year.

Temitope further explained that since the deployment of the North Korean troops to Russia, military tensions between South Korea and North Korea have reached another level.

Last month, North Korea tested its newly engineered Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and also for the first time released a picture of its uranium industry.

Also, the United Kingdom government announced early this month that it would annually give Ukraine £3 billion pounds for as long as it takes, while the United States government announced the shipment of weapons of over $400 million dollars to Ukraine to show its support.
