Turkey Sever All Ties With Israel

The Turkish president revealed this in a statement to journalists while boarding the presidential jet before embarking on an official visit to China and Azerbaijan. Erdogan said, “The government of the Republic of Turkey, under the leadership of Tayyip Erdogan, will not continue or develop relations with Israel”. He further added, “Our ruling coalition is resolute in its decision to cut ties with Israel, and we will maintain this stance in the future as well.” “We, as the Republic of Turkey and its government, have currently severed all relations with Israel,” Erdogan added. This shocking announcement came after Erdogan called on Arab-Muslim countries to sever ties with Israel during the Arab-Muslim four-day summit held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last week. Erdogan said, “We recently submitted our formal letter regarding this initiative to the president of the United Nations Security Council and the secretary-general of the United Nations.” He further added, “During our summit in Riyadh, a decision was made to invite all organizations and members of the Arab League to sign this letter.” It could be recalled that Turkey placed an embargo on Israel in May but still kept a trade relationship with the country until this recent announcement made by the Turkish President. Erdogan also emphasized on Wednesday that his country would do everything within its power to hold Benjamin Netanyahu Israeli Prime Minister accountable for his actions in Gaza, which many international human rights groups have described as a genocide. Although the Turkish government formally recalled its ambassador last year for consultations, however, the Turkish embassy and diplomatic missions in Tel Aviv remain open and operational. However, Israel also evacuated its embassy in Ankara last year, citing regional security threats as the reason for the closure.

The Republican House has been secretly working on how to pass the tax reduction bill and other legislative measures that are considered priorities for the successful passage of the Donald Trump administration. The victory of the House of Representatives will grant Mike Johnson, the extension of holding the gavel as the speaker of the House till January 2025. The Republicans picked up victory in unusual states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Colorado but also lost seats in California and New York. Even though the Republican leaders were confident of retaining control of the House of Representatives but were conflicted with doubt when they could not compete with the fundraising efforts of the Democrats. Steve Scalise, the Republican Majority House Leader said. “There are only about 45 seats in the country that are truly competitive. … And so each one of them is very competitive and very expensive and our candidates are great” The House victory was called for Republicans on Wednesday night after Juan Ciscomani was projected to win his reelection to Arizona’s 6th Congressional District. The campaign focus on the border crisis and the rejuvenation of the economy played a major factor in the outcome of the elections in favor of the Republicans. The Republican party leaders have expressed confidence that the days of 30-plus-seat majorities are over for the next few years. President Trump made this known on Tuesday in a statement on his social media page on X and Truth. The president-elect pointed out that the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency is to combat bureaucracy and cut down the excessive spending of government funds. DOGE which is an acronym for Elon Musk’s favorite cryptocurrency “DOGECOIN”. The SpaceX founder has been at the forefront of calling for down the excessive spending budget of the Biden/Harris administration. President Trump revealed that both Elon Musk and Rivek Ramaswamy will work as an advisory length and will not be officially part of any government department. The Department Of Government Efficiency is aimed at overhauling federal operations to cut down wasteful spending and also improving the financial performance of the government. President Trump further emphasized that this department would work on reforming and streamlining government processes, and the goal of the Department is to conclude its responsibilities by July 4, 2026. Elon Musk, who played a significant role in the successful re-election of President Trump donated millions of dollars during the campaign period and was very vocal in his support of Donald Trump using his social media platform X as an integral tool to enhance the campaign sanitization of the American voters. President Trump himself sketched up a plan for Elon Musk in his government to help with cost-cutting on the campaign trail. Vivek Ramaswamy, who ran against Donald Trump during the Republic presidential debate, decided to abandon his presidential campaign and throw his support behind President Trump. Vivek said that the reason for his actions was that he strongly believed in the policies of Donald Trump and he was very confident that he was the man who was right to lead the country. The department does not currently exist and, when created, it is not expected to be an official department. However, such agencies like the Department of Government Efficiency have to be established through an act of Congress and will demand the employment of thousands of people.

The missile base which is located in Redzikowo, Northwestern Poland, and close to the Baltic Sea is set to be a permanent missile military base which is close to the Russian border. Redzikowo is located 100 miles from Russia’s Kaliningrad exclave, a town in which Russia has a powerful military presence that now stands between NATO members Poland and Lithuania. The missile base, which is named Aegis Ashore, stands as a vital part of NATO’s broader missile defense shield which is designed to intercept short- to intermediate-range ballistic missiles. The missile system includes another Aegis Ashore site in Romania, a United States Navy destroyer based in Spain’s Rota dock, and an early-warning radar station in Turkey’s Kurecik. The inauguration of the missile base was announced by Radoslaw Sikorski, the Polish Foreign Minister who disclosed this on his official page in a video posted to X on Tuesday. He revealed that the military project stands as a show of the “geostrategic consistency of the United States… and a relationship of the Polish-American alliance is strong, regardless of who governs in Warsaw and Washington.” The missile base is the first United States base in Central Europe and was started by former President George Bush’s administration which was continued by former President Barack Obama’s administration and was finished by President Joe Biden. The meeting which began on Friday and ended on Monday had 57 Arab-Muslim leaders from the world in the four-day summit that had the Western world on its toes. The meeting was organized by the Arab League (AL) and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as a form of solidarity against Israel’s aggressive behavior in the Middle East, which has desolated Gaza with thousands of people dead, while Lebanon has been under constant Israeli airstrikes, and a constant tussle of power between Israel and Iran has increased the tension in the Middle East to another level of chaos. The failure of the United States and the United Kingdom to call Israel to order has been seen as an act of enforcing the Israeli continuous military aggression in Gaza and Lebanon. In the last few days, the United States and the United Kingdom have sent military warplanes to the Middle East as a show of support for Israel in its continuous military campaign in Gaza and Lebanon. The summit’s closing statement called for the return to the pre-1967 borders, referencing United Nations resolutions and the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative, which offered Israel normalized relations in exchange for a two-state resolution. Hamas in its statement at the summit said “The establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital would require more immediate efforts and practical solutions to force (Israel) to stop its aggression and genocide against our people”. A call that has been dismissed by the Israeli government, in a statement issued by Bezalel Smotrich, the Israeli Finance Minister who reiterated that the creation of Palestinian statehood is not “realistic”. He further disclosed that the Israeli government will push for the annexation of the West bank as part of their plan to erase the realization of a Palestinian state.

The attack which targeted the Moscow province injured a 52-year-old woman and set two homes on fire in the village of Stanovoye. Sergei Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow confirmed the attack and said “Thirty-two drones headed for Moscow have been destroyed”. He revealed this through his Telegram page. The drones were shot down over the Moscow region in the Ramenskoye, Kolomna, and Domodedovo districts. Russia’s defense ministry disclosed in a statement that it had shot down 23 Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk, Rostov, Belgorod, and Kursk regions, which share a border with Ukraine. A video posted by the Russian media showed a house on fire, in the Ramenskoye district of Moscow. Andrei Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region described the attack as “Massive” and the woman who is the only victim of the attack has been moved to a hospital for treatment. Andrei Klychkov, the governor of Orlov region, a town closer to Moscow, confirmed that the air defense shot down a total of 10 drones over his region on Sunday morning. He further added that no one was injured during the attack. The Ukrainian military said that the attack was a response to the Thursday and Friday attacks carried out by the Russian air force in several parts of Southern Ukraine in which one person was killed and seven people were wounded. The Russian military said its air force has responded to Ukraine’s attack with 92 drones and five glide missiles, while Ukraine confirmed that it downed four Russian missiles and 62 drones. This is the largest UAV attack exchange between the two countries since the war broke out in 2022.

The attack took place at Los Cantaritos bar, where the gunmen arrived in a truck and shot rapidly at the bar. Confirming the incident was Juan Luis Ferrusca, the head of public security for Queretaro, he disclosed that “Emergency services arrived at the scene and confirmed that at least four people armed with long weapons had arrived on board a pickup truck”. He added that “Inside, 10 people were reported dead and at least seven more were injured so far”. Prodesq crime analyst Temitope Oladeji gathered that two of the injured victims lost their lives on the way to the hospital while the other five remain in critical condition. He added that one suspect had been detained by the Queretaro police authorities and investigation was underway into the cause of the shooting and if it was cartel related or gang related. Queretaro is a city in central Mexico and was considered to be one of the safest cities in Mexico, but the increase in cartel war has left many cities in Mexico in chaos. This will be the 20th gun related violence in Mexico since the beginning of the year, which has witnessed a surge since the arrest of popular cartel leader “El Mayo” Zambada and extradited to the United States.

Federal Judge Halts Joe Biden Plan For Undocumented Spouses

Judge Parker who is an appointee of Donald Trump during his last administration said that President Joe Biden administration lacked the power to make such decisions to enact the programme. Judge Campbell Parker supported a filed lawsuit which was brought by 16 Republican states that kicked against the Biden administration not being able to bypass the Congress to pass the immigration legislation. Hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants have been blocked by Judge Barker a few days after the program started in August. In August the Biden administration announced the Keeping Families Together programme, which will give undocumented immigrants married to United States citizens living in the country for a decade or more a chance of getting a green card without leaving the United States. The program will allow residents with green cards who are married to United States citizens to be able to apply for citizenship after three years. The White House was dissatisfied with the ruling of Judge Campbell Parker and in a statement by Angelo Fernández Hernández, the White House Spokesman said “This ruling sides with Republican state officials who are seeking to force US citizens and their families, people who have lived in the United States for more than ten years, to either separate or live in the shadows in constant fear of deportation”. He further added that “Our Administration believes in keeping American families together,” and that the Biden administration is looking at all possible solutions to overturn the decision in the Supreme Court. Gene Hamilton, the executive director of Homeland Security said that he was highly disappointed by the ruling, he added that “We firmly believe Keeping Families Together is grounded in well-established legal authority, and its purpose is consistent with fundamental American values.” Gene further pointed out that “Since day one, the Biden-Harris Administration has dedicated itself to the decimation of our immigration system and the erasure of our borders”. The administration has planned to appeal Judge Barker’s ruling, but with the emergence of Donald Trump as the new president the hopes of appealing the ruling have been dashed as the newly elected president has already announced that his administration will carry out the biggest deportation in America history.
