Russia Recruits Houthis Mercenaries To Fight In Ukraine

Houthis Yemeni Militias

by Admin  Nov 24, 2024 The Russian government has decided to recruit the Houthis mercenaries to aid them in their war in Ukraine, with a promise of high financial payments and Russian citizenship in exchange for their services. This new alliance shows the deep ties between Moscow, Yemen, and the Houthis militia group. The arrival of the Houthis mercenaries began in July and adds to the growing increase of foreign troops Russia has recruited to help fight their war in Ukraine against Ukrainian forces and NATO allied troops.   Earlier in September, the Ukrainian government announced that the Russian government had received 12,000 North Korean troops and in October 7,000 of the North Korean troops were deployed into the Kursk region of Russia to help fight the Ukrainian occupation forces that have captured the region since August while the remaining 5000 was deployed into Ukraine to conduct an offensive in the Southern Ukrainian region. The Houthis were recruited through a Yemeni-linked company in Moscow, a company founded by Abdulwali Abdo Hassan al-Jabri, a prominent Houthi politician. The company is registered in Salalah, Oman, the Al Jabri company’s registration documents identify it as a tour operator and retail supplier of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. The presence of the Houthis militias has increased the number of foreign fighters that joined forces with the Russian military, Nepal, Indian, and Belarusian mercenaries have been fighting in Ukraine on behalf of the Russian army as the Kremlin is looking for all possible ways to avoid a full mobilization of their forces. The Houthis militia group is sponsored by the Iranian government which has been a major supporter of Russia in its war in Ukraine, last year Iran supplied the Russian army with thousands of Kamikaze drones and missiles, and in September, Russia sent missile defense systems to Tehran to support the Iranian government in its war against Israel. The United States diplomats have expressed their concerns and are surprised by the Kremlin’s level of desperation in their recruitment of the Houthis militias, they said that they never thought such an alliance could be feasible between the Kremlin and the Houthis and quite unimaginable before the war in Ukraine. Tim Lenderking, the United States envoy to Yemen confirmed the report that the Houthis and the Russian government have established communications and are also discussing the possibility of transferring weapons to the Houthis militias who have been involved in hostilities with Israel since the beginning of the Conflict in Gaza Strip in October last year. Lenderking further explained, “We know that there are Russian personnel in Sana’a helping to deepen this dialogue … The kinds of weapons that are being discussed are very alarming, and would enable the Houthis to better target ships in the Red Sea and possibly beyond.” Mohammed al Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansar Allah politburo, told the Russian news website Meduza earlier this month that they were in “constant contact” with the Russian leadership “to develop these relations in all areas, including economics, politics, and the military”. The Houthis are recognized as formidable fighters and have fought in the Syrian war and against ISIS in Yemen and Afghanistan.  The group has been responsible for several attacks against Israel bond ships in the Red Sea over the past year and in September the United States government tried to establish a diplomatic relationship between Israel and Houthis which the Houthis leadership declined unless there is a ceasefire in Gaza and the West Bank. Prodesq political war analyst, Temitope Oladeji, said that the Russian government’s ties with the Houthis did not start with the war in Ukraine but rather with Russia’s involvement in the Syria war when Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to support Syrian President Assad in his war against western-backed ISIS to divide the country into different factions, and more importantly the relationship between Iran and Russia help cemented the transaction between the Houthis and the Kremlin.

“World World Three Has Begun” Claims Ukraine Ex-General

General Valerii Zaluzhny, former Ukraine Commander-In-Chief of the Ukrainian Army

by Admin  Nov 23, 2024 General Valery Zaluzhny, former Commander in Chief of the Ukrainian Army has said that the world has entered a phase of World War III with the involvement of non-democratic allies such as North Korea and Iran who have aided Russia in its war in Ukraine.  The Ukrainian ex-general disclosed this while speaking at Ukrainska Pravda’s UP100 award ceremony. He said, “I believe that in 2024 we can believe that the Third World War has begun”. Zaluzhny, now part of the Ukrainian envoy to the United Kingdom, added”Because, in 2024, Ukraine is no longer facing Russia. Soldiers from North Korea are standing in front of Ukraine. Let’s be honest. Already in Ukraine, the Iranian ‘Shahedis’ are killing civilians openly, without any shame.” The ex-general highlighted the presence of North Korean troops in Ukraine fighting on behalf of Russia, the massive influx of Chinese weapons used by Russian fighters, and the use of Iranian Kamikaze drones, which have set a precedent for the ushering of World War III. He further explained “It is still possible to stop it here, on the territory of Ukraine. But for some reason, our partners do not want to understand this. It is obvious that Ukraine already has too many enemies. Ukraine will survive with technology, but it is unclear whether it can win this battle alone”. The outspoken general essay with The Economist magazine, last year drew the final straw between him and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky who felt infuriated by the essay and relieved Zaluzhny of his post as the commander in chief of the Ukrainian army and was replaced by General Oleksandr Syrskyi, who is regarded as a very close ally to Zelensky. Zaluzhny was famously credited for a successful campaign in pushing back Russia’s initial attack launched on Feb. 24, 2022, which was later tarnished by the failure to lead a successful counteroffensive against the Russian incursion last year.

Russia Responds To Ukraine Missile Attack With A New Hypersonic Missile Attack On Dnipro

Vladimir Putin, The President Of Russia

by Admins Nov 23, 2022 Russia took the world by surprise with the launch of a new experimental hypersonic missile strike on Dnipro City of Ukraine in response to Ukraine’s use of long-range missile strikes in Russia after the Ukrainian government was given the green light by President Biden to use United States-long-range missiles (ATACMS) the United Kingdom Storm Shadow missiles to attack Russia. Vladimir Putin, the Russian president who had been initially silent about the United States’ decision to allow Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory with United States long-range missiles, said the United States decided to escalate the war to another level of aggression against Russia and in response to the Western aggression Russia responded with a new experimental hypersonic missile which can not be intercepted by any modern day missile defense systems. The Russia President said “In response to the use of American and British long-range weaponry, on November 21, the Russian Armed Forces conducted a combined strike on a Ukrainian defense industry facility,”  He further stated that “Among the operations carried out was the testing of one of Russia’s latest medium-range missile systems. In this case, a ballistic missile equipped with a non-nuclear hypersonic warhead was used,” the Kremlin leader said. “Russian missile operators named the system ‘Oreshnik.’ The tests were deemed successful, with the target being hit as intended.” He added, “In the event of an escalation of aggressive actions, we will respond decisively and accordingly.” The next day, the Russian president signed the order to lower Russia’s threshold for using nuclear weapons, a decision which was widely interpreted as retaliation for the United States and British decision to give Ukraine the green light to attack Russia with their long-range missiles. “We will do this openly and publicly, for humanitarian reasons, without fearing any opposition from the enemy, who will also receive this information”, the Russian president said. Vladimir Putin made his statement hours after the attack and the Ukrainian government accused the Russian military of using Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) to attack Dnipro, which the Russian president explained that it was a new experimental missile capable of reaching its targets at a speed of 2.5 to 3 kilometers per second. The Russian president said that the name of the missile is called Oreshkin and it can beat any modern-day missile defense technology in the world including the United States technology, Vladimir Putin said that before the attack was carried out the Russian government notified the United States government which it failed to notify Kyiv. The Pentagon confirmed that it was notified by the Russian government of the impending attack on Ukraine with a new experimental hypersonic ballistic missile through a nuclear risk reduction channel and also dismissed the Ukrainian government’s claim that the Russian military attacked its military facilities in Dnipro with an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). The United States government and several other Western countries temporarily closed their embassies in Kyiv on Wednesday, with the United States delegates explaining that it had received a warning of a potentially significant attack on Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital.

County Judge Orders Jussie Smollett to be from Prison Pending Appeal Hearing

Jussie Smollett

by Admin Nov 22, 2024 Jussie Smollett, the Hollywood star was granted partial freedom on Wednesday after an appeal court judge ruled in his favor after an agreement with his lawyers was made that he should be released pending the appeal of his conviction for lying to police about a racist and homophobic attack. This sentence came a week after the actor was sentenced to an immediate 150 days imprisonment by a Cook County judge for his conviction on five felony counts of disorderly conduct for lying to police. The case which began in January 2019 started when Smollet called the Chicago police to report an attack on him by two men in ski masks the hunt for the suspects later turned out to be an investigation on Smollet himself who reported the incident and was the victim of the crime.  Smollett’s attorneys had earlier argued in the appeal court that their client would have completed his sentence by the time the appeal process was completed and that their client could be in danger of physical harm if he remained locked up in Cook County Jail.  The Empire TV show star had an emotional outburst last week after he was sentenced to prison by the Cook County Judge, Smollet said  “I am not suicidal. And if anything happens to me when I go in there, I do not do it to myself. And you must all know that.”  The Hollywood actor insinuated that he was being imprisoned against his will by the Chicago police system because of his race and being gay. A jury had earlier convicted Smollett in December on five felony counts of disorderly conduct, the charge filed when a person lies to police while Smollet was acquitted on a sixth count.  Judge James Linn of Cook County sentenced Smollett last week to 150 days in jail, but with good behavior, he could have been released in as little as 75 days. Smollett maintained his innocence during the trial. Smollet was accused by the Chicago police that the Hollywood star paid two men he knew from his work on “Empire” to stage the attack on him while on his way home and also use racist and homophobic slurs on him. The Appeal Court ruled in a 2-1 decision and gave a verdict that Smollett could be released after posting a personal recognizance bond of $150,000, suggesting he does not have to put down money but agrees to come to court as required.  However, it remains uncertain if the Hollywood actor was released immediately after the ruling.

The International Criminal Court Has Issued Arrest Warrant For Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant

by Admin  Nov 21, 2024 The International Criminal Court (ICC) has surprised the world with an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank. The contemplation of the decision by the ICC judges began in May early this year, and a pre-trial chamber had earlier rescinded Israel’s challenges to the court’s jurisdiction and issued warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant the Israeli former defense minister. Karim Khan, the ICC prosecutor who led the application for arrest warrants against the Israeli officials and three Hamas leaders in May for alleged crimes committed during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attack on southern Israel and Israel’s subsequent war on Gaza.  Khan said that there were reasonable grounds to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant and also Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, the group’s political chief Ismail Haniyeh, and Mohammed Deif for criminal charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity. In a statement issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Thursday, it said that Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant are both wanted for “crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024”. The statement further accused the Prime Minister and his former defense minister Yoav Gallant of  “intentionally and knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including food, water, and medicine and medical supplies, as well as fuel and electricity” which is against the United Nations human rights law.  The ICC judges also unanimously voted for the arrest of Mohammed al-Masri, known as Mohammed Deif, the Hamas Military commander for “alleged crimes against humanity and war crimes committed” in Israel on the October 7, 2023 attack and further crimes against Israeli hostages in Gaza. Mohammed Deif is believed to be dead after Israel claimed that the Hamas leader who perpetrated the October 7 attack on Israel was killed in an airstrike on Gaza in July, the Israeli claim which was also backed by a further statement from Hamas to announce the death of their commander in August. However, the Israeli government has condemned the decision of the ICC judges, the office of the Israeli prime minister in a statement said “Israel rejects with disgust the absurd and false actions leveled against it by ICC, and won’t give in to pressure in the defense of its citizens”. It could be recalled that earlier this month Benjamin Netanyahu had relieved Yoav Gallant of his position as the Defense Minister after both had a falling out with Netanyahu claiming that he could not trust Gallant and accusing him of being behind the Iran attack document leaks.  Prodesq Political analyst, Temitope Oladeji explained that the ICC arrest warrant will restrict Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant from traveling to 122 countries that are signatories to the Rome Status of the ICC and this will be a great division between the United States and some of its allies like the Netherlands which has come out to support the ruling of the ICC. However, Oladeji explained further that the Hague Invasion Act of the United States can be invoked if Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested by the ICC, the Hague Invasion Act gives the United States President the power to use “all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any U.S. or allied personnel being detained or imprisoned by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court”.  Israel, which is a close ally of the United States and has been backed by the U.S. government in its war in Gaza and Lebanon, is covered by the Hague Invasion Act.

Britain Prime Minister Keir Starmer Accused Chinese President Xi Jinping of Human Rights Violations at The G20 Summit

United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer shakes hands with President Xi Jinping of China

by Admin Nov 19, 2024 Things took a different turn when Keir Starmer, the British Prime Minister took shots at President Xi Jinping of China, the British Prime Minister accused the Chinese President of being a sponsor of Human Rights violations in China after both leaders met at this year’s G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. President Xi who spoke first at the meeting on Monday, exchanged pleasantries with the British prime minister, hailing the cooperation between the two countries and seeking a better trading partnership with Beijing and London, which included trade, investment, clean energy, and financial services.  The conversation went sour when the British prime minister interrupted the Chinese president halfway into his speech and brought up human rights cases of sanctioned lawmakers in Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and the case of former media mogul Jimmy Lai. While the British Prime Minister was still at his speech, tension grew within the conference room and Chinese officials stood up and ordered British journalists out of the room before Keir Starmer could finish his speech about the human rights cases. Things became more awkward when the British prime minister’s entourage tried to stop the Chinese officials from ushering the reporters out of the room but the Chinese officials went physical and pushed the British journalist out of the room. In his speech, the British Prime Minister said, “I’m very pleased that my foreign secretary and Foreign Minister Wang met recently and discussed their respective concerns including human rights and parliamentary sanctions, Taiwan, the South China Sea, and our shared interest in Hong Kong.”  Keir Starmer further said, “We are concerned about reports of Jimmy Lai’s deteriorating health in prison”. The Chinese officials viewed the British Prime Minister’s reference to Hong Kong and Lai as a very sensitive topic because both territories were former British colonies and in recent years the British government has accused Hong Kong of a legislative security breach for handing over the territory back to China in 1997. A Hong Kong court on Tuesday morning sentenced dozens of former democracy advocates in Hong Kong’s largest national security trial, a trial which was largely condemned by the largely Western powers including Britain, and the United States, accusing Hong Kong and the Chinese government of politically sabotaging the democratic rights of the Hong Kong people. The outcome of the trial is evidently likely to further hinder  China’s relationship with the Western powers. However, the Chinese media read out the details of the meeting with the British Prime Minister and his entourage but omitted the reference to Taiwan or human rights allegations made by Keir Starmer which are considered to be the most sensitive topics of discussion.  At the end of the meeting, the British Prime later proposed holding meetings with Premier Li Qiang China’s second-highest ranking official in Beijing or London in early next year, as well as a meeting between Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves and Vice Premier He Lifeng to further discuss enhancing economic financial dialog to explore more investment projects.

Hong Kong Sentenced Pro Democracy Activists To Prison For Attempting Subversion

Benny Tai, Hong Kong Pro Democracy Activist

by Admin Nov 19, 2024 The Hong Kong Supreme Court has decided to send 45 out of 47 pro democracy activists to prison on the grounds of attempting Subversion in a protest the group organized in 2019 against extradition treaty rights between Hong Kong and Mainland China which later escalated into a major civil rights movement which called for implementation of pro democracy reform in Hong Kong. The trial which ran for 118 days is the largest national security case ever recorded in the history of Hong Kong. The trial saw Benny Tai, a 60-year-old legal scholar who was accused of playing a significant role in Hong Kong’s pro-democracy protests of 2014 and 2019. Benny Tai, was handed the longest prison sentence of 10 years Tuesday after prosecutors castigated him as the organizer of the protests that led to separate the pro-democracy elections in the city -state without the involvement of the government. The pro-democracy activists organized elections to elect lawmakers who would vote against the city-state’s budget to force the dissolvement of the state’s legislature and the removal of the city’s leader which is an act that is allowed under Hong Kong’s Basic Law. Benny Tai and 44 others were found guilty of offenses related to organizing an unofficial primary election to choose pro-democracy candidates for the city’s legislature. Out of 47 defendants arrested by Hong Kong’s national security police in a predawn raid in January 2021, 31 pleaded guilty, including Tai while two others were acquitted of the charges former district councilors Laurence Lau and Lee Yue-shu. Lee Yue-shun, speaking to reporters, said he  urged the citizens of Hong Kong to “raise questions” about the case, as “everyone has a chance to be affected” by its outcome. Among the convicted activities were former journalist and legislator Claudia Mo, 67, who received four years and two months, and internationally well-known activist Joshua Wong, 27, who received four years and eight months. Before the sentencing hearing on Tuesday many of the activists had been remanded in prison for three years after being denied bail after they were arrested in a pre-dawn raid in January 2021 and a hearing in March of the same year. Under Hong Kong’s Beijing-drafted national security law, defendants charged as “primary offenders” face a maximum punishment of life imprisonment, while lower-level offenders face sentences of between three and 10 years. The case which drew attention internationally was widely condemned by the United States government and Australia government. The United States government described the trial as a politically motivated act against democracy by Hong Kong and Beijing while the Australian government said it stood against the abuse of the National Security Law (NSL) and that it had been weaponized by the Hong Kong and Beijing authorities in sentencing its citizens.  Penny Wong, the Australian Foreign Minister said “Australia has expressed our strong objections to the Chinese and Hong Kong authorities on the continuing broad application of national security legislation, including in application to Australian citizens”.  However, Hong Kong and Beijing have refuted the allegations against them and argued that the law must take its course and that they strongly oppose foreign interference in the affairs of China, the Chinese foreign ministry said “No one can engage in illegal activities in the name of democracy and attempt to escape justice,… discrediting and undermining the rule of law in Hong Kong.” Prodesq political analyst Temitope Oladeji, gathered that since the 2019 protests and massive police raids in 2021, Hong Kong has witnessed a significant reduction in protests against the government for the fear of being arrested and made a political martyr in a political war between the Chinese communist system of government and the Western pro democracy movement.  Furthermore, Beijing regards the 2019 protests has a strongly motivated Western weaponized coup against the Chinese government and a challenge against China’s authority over Hong Kong which has earlier today the British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer accused the Chinese government of Human Rights violations after he held a private meeting with the Chinese president Xi Jinping at the G20 summit in Brazil, where Starmer became the first British Prime Minister to shake hands with the Chinese president in half a decade.

Hezbollah Media Chief Killed In a Missile Strike In Beirut

Mohammed Afif

by Admin Nov 18, 2024 Mohammed Afif, a senior Hezbollah media chief has been confirmed killed by an Israeli missile strike in Central Beirut, Lebanon, the Hezbollah media also confirmed the death of their media chief. The Israeli missile struck the headquarters of the Baath political party in the densely populated Ras al-Naba neighborhood on Sunday afternoon after 4 pm prayers. Mohammed Afif who was highly regarded in the Hezbollah rank and also by the Lebanese government was last seen publicly last week Monday during a press conference held in the Suburb area of Southern Beirut.  Palestinian militant group Hamas, sent its condolences to Afif’s family and Hezbollah leadership, calling him “a strong and defiant voice of resistance.” The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that it carried out six major strikes on Hezbollah military targets in the Southern Suburbs of Beirut and the killing of the Hezbollah media chief Mohammed Afif. The Lebanese Ministry of Health in a statement on Sunday said that one of Israel’s missile strikes in central Beirut on Mar Elias Street killed two people and injured 13 others including 3 children and 5 women.  The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have failed to comment on the missile strike that killed civilians and injured others in central Beirut. The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that more than 3,400 Lebanese people have been killed and 2600 have been injured with over one million people displaced in Lebanon since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hezbollah in June. Israel launched an intense air campaign followed by a ground invasion in the Southern part of Lebanon.

President Biden Gives Ukraine The Green Light To Use United States-Made Long-Range Missiles to Strike Russia

President Volodymr Zelensky of Ukraine and President Joe Biden of The United States of America

by Admin Nov 18, 2024 Joe Biden, the United States President on Sunday made a U-turn in restriction on allowing Ukraine to use United States-made long-range missiles to attack deep into Russian territory. President Joe Biden’s decision comes as a sign of relief for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky who has been pushing for the use of Western-made missiles to attack deep into Russian territory since the beginning of the war. This decision comes less than two weeks after the emergence of Donald Trump as the newly elected president of the United States who has assured that he would bring an end to the Ukraine-Russia war. The new directives come hours after a massive drone and missile attack on Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure left the country’s energy sector paralyzed and almost half of the country’s population without electricity. Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia has always reiterated that any use of NATO missiles against Russian territory shows a clear signal of war between Russia and NATO. The new directives from the United States president have left the Russian government furious while different reactions have been going around from the Russian officials in the Kremlin.  Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, has accused the United States government of “pouring oil into a hot fire”. Peskov said the decision by Washington has directly put the United States and NATO in a direct war with Russia. The United States and Britain have provided Ukraine with ATACMS and Storm Shadow long-range missiles but President Biden has warned Ukraine not to use the Storm Shadow missiles to attack Russia, the British Storm Shadow which has a longer range than the United States’ powerful ATACMS missiles. Also, Germany has refused to supply Ukraine with its Taurus missiles with a range of over 500 kilometers(310 miles) over concerns that they could hit Russian territory. Prodesq political analyst, Temitope Oladeji, said the decision of the outgoing United States president Joe Biddn to give Ukraine the green light to use U.S long-range missiles to attack deep inside Russian territory is purely political both within and outside the United States political territory. Giving Ukraine the greenlight to attack deep into Russian territory takes the war to another scale of conflict which will intensify the Russian attack against not just Ukraine but NATO at large, which gives the United States’ incoming President Donald Trump a much tougher situation to deal with, Trump who in recent times have said that he would bring an end to the war in Ukraine and also reconsider United States commitment to NATO, will have a long decision to make after he resumes to the Oval office.  Joe Biden putting his successor into a tough position will make Donald Trump look weak if he decides not to fully support Ukraine after Russia declares war on NATO if Ukraine decides to strike Russia with U.S.-made missiles. Also, the arrival of Ten thousand North Korean troops to aid Russia in the war has changed the political landscape of the war. The United States, which has always been a strong ally of South Korea, sees the military pact between Russia and North Korea as a dangerous precedent for the United States’ political grip on the Korean peninsula.  However, President Putin has yet to release any official statement regarding the new turn of events in the war.

Human Rights Organizations Accuse Israel Of Crimes Against Humanity In Gaza Ethnic Cleansing

Gaza Strip

by Admin Nov 12, 2024 A Human Rights Watch group based in the United States has accused Israel of crimes against humanity in the forceful displacement of the people in Gaza by ethnic cleansing and evacuation orders. The United States human rights group disclosed this in a report published on Wednesday accusing Israel of breaking the Geneva Convention law and a crime under the Rome statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The published report titled ‘Hopeless, Starving, and Besieged’: ‘Israel Forceful Displacement of Palestinians in Gaza’ the report revealed “the war crime of forcible transfer of the civilian population”.  The report was published after grave evidence was gathered from Gaza that the Israeli government was working on dividing the Gaza Strip into two parts with a protection zone to shelter new Israeli settlers in Gaza after the war. The Israeli government is also building new infrastructure to support its plans for a prolonged military campaign in Gaza, and also with an increased act of demolitions and destruction of the entire Gaza Strip.  The Israeli forces have besieged and displaced thousands of Palestinian families and the remaining population, which has been estimated by Human Rights organizations to be over a thousand. The displaced families have been ordered to head south through a military checkpoint that separates two towns and a refugee camp from Gaza City. The Israeli forceful besiege and displacement have led to the removal of over 1.9 million Palestinians and the widespread destruction of a considerable area of Gaza over the last year since  The United States-based human rights have Called for Israel’s enforced policy of forceful displacement to be investigated by the International Criminal Court (ICC), while Human Rights Watch has also urged targeted sanctions against Israel and a ban on arms sales. However, the Human Rights Reports have been contrary to the State Department of the United States that revealed that Israel has not broken any American law regarding the blockage of aid supplies after the lapse of a 30-day deadline it gave Israel to increase humanitarian aid access to Gaza or face some military assistance cut off.
