Kamala Harris, The United States Vice President

What would have been the greatest fairy tale in American Political History turned out to be a sour heartbreak for the incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris, most will argue that she fought the good fight against tyranny others will remember her as the number two citizen of the United States for four years who waged different wars, flooded the country with illegal migrants.

Kamala Harris, the first American vice president of Latino descent, the first female vice president of the United States, a former senator and an Attorney General of California that’s a lot of accolades under her belt, but that was not enough to make her the number one citizen of the United States of America.

Where did it all go wrong? It all started with the war in Ukraine, the first major war in Europe since the Second World War, Biden, and Kamala administration gave the green light for a major escalation of the Ukraine-Russia war that led to billions of dollars of taxpayers’ money being sent to Ukraine while victims of natural disasters in the United States were abandoned, from the Hawaii fire victims who were permanently relocated from their ancestral lands to Florida Hurricane victims who were paid $350 dollars per household as hurricane relief fee while the same week over $300 million dollars was sent to Ukraine.

The Biden/Harris administration recorded the highest number of illegal immigrants flooding the United States with several others being sheltered by the government using the taxpayer’s money while thousands of American citizens were left homeless on the street.

The use of the rhetoric that “I will do better than the last administration” made a lot of Americans ask if she was not part of the last administration. The tipping point of her fall was the continuous support of Israel’s war in the Middle East which left thousands of people dead in Gaza and Lebanon with a substantial amount of the victims being women and children.

The failure of the administration to halt Israel and hold Benjamin Netanyahu accountable for his war crimes while several thousands of Americans protested against the support of the Biden/Harris administration to quell the war which was ignored as the Administration kept funding Israel as a show of defiance to the American people.

During her campaign, Kamala Harris’s support for abortion rights policy led to a wide range of discontent from Americans who have had a rapid decline in the birth rate while her Republican opponent Donald Trump stood against abortion rights policy like he did in his last administration swung the election in favor.

Sexism played a huge impact on the outcome of the election, yes! America is the leader of the “free world”, America is the land of opportunities but a lot of Americans do not believe that a woman can represent them on the world stage or stand a chance against the likes of Vladimir Putin of Russia, Xi Jinping of China, Ayatollah Khamenei of Iran and Kim Jong Un of North Korea who are considered to be adversaries to the United States of America.

In 2016,  Hillary Clinton was projected to be the President of the United States she had all her boxes ticked to be the next president against Donald Trump who had not held a political office before, Hillary Clinton knew Washington like the palm of her hand as she was the former first lady of President Bill Clinton, a former Secretary of States to President Barack Obama, she had the biggest donors in her pocket and the social media platforms were strongly behind her but it took the decision of the American people to decide whether they wanted a female president or not which they voted against by electing Donald Trump.

This is the same fate that Kamala Harris experienced hoping she could pull the biggest political upset in American history where a typical American woman failed. She felt an African American and Asian American woman could achieve it but she failed more woefully than the last woman who tried it. The question remains what next for Kamala Harris?
