Former President Donald Trump introduces Robert F Kennedy JR at his Arizona rally.

America’s Independent presidential candidate Robert F Kenndey Jr, on Friday night, announced that he has suspended his presidential campaign and decided on Republican candidate and former president Donald Trump.

Kennedy made this announcement at his campaign stop in Phoenix, Arizona after he filed paperwork withdrawing his candidacy in Arizona, in preparation for Friday’s speech.

The son of the former US attorney general and Senator made a fiery speech to announce the suspension of his presidential campaign, saying “Beneath the radar of mainstream media organs, we inspired a massive independent political movement.”

The environmental activist further disclosed that despite running as an independent presidential candidate and being considered a no-competitor, he has proven the “naysayers” wrong. He questioned the competence of the electoral system “ “In an honest system, I believe I would have won the election,” he said.

The 70-year-old nephew of slain U.S. President John F Kennedy acknowledged his slim opportunity to win the presidential election “I cannot in good conscience ask my staff and volunteers to keep working their long hours or ask my donors to keep giving when I cannot honestly tell them that I have a real path to the White House.”

Kennedy stated that the reason why he suspended his presidential campaign and threw his support behind former President Donald Trump was “free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the war on our children”.

Robert F KeKennedy Jr joined the Republican presidential candidate, former president Donald Trump, on stage at a rally in Arizona after dropping out of the race and endorsing the former US president after he announced that he would seek to remove his name from the ballot in 10 battleground states.

President Donald Trump earlier announced that if he wins the election, he will release all the remaining documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F Kennedy. He later praised Robert Kennedy Jr as a”phenomenal” and “brilliant” person at the rally later in Glendale.

The decision of Mr. Robert Kennedy Jr to pull out of the presidential race and support former President Donald Trump has been met with dismay from his family, who initially condemned his invocation of the family name in a Super Bowl ad back in February. Speaking on behalf of the Kennedy family, Kerry Kennedy, the junior sister to Robert Kennedy, said his support for Trump was a “betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story.”

Mr. Kennedy issued an apology to his family and his friends who were affected by his decision to pull out of the presidential race and throw his support behind the Republican candidate, Donald Trump.
